Image Scan! for Linux: I cannot save to PNG

Saving to PNG is disabled when a compatible version of the PNG library is not detected on your system. Please install libpng version 12 in order to restore the ability to save to PNG.

We have confirmed that this problem occurs in the following distributions:

• openSUSE 11.4
