Document feeder of the DS-30 does not transport documents correctly

This may happen when you put your documents in the feeder slot of the DS-30 before starting a scan.
To get document feeding to work the way it should please do the following:

[When using Image Scan! for Linux]

1. Press Image Scan! for Linux' Scan button.
2. Insert your document in the feeder slot. The device will "grab"
   the document and pull it in a little.
3. Press the scan button on the device.

[When using other SANE frontends]

1. Insert your document in the feeder slot.
2. Start scanning from the frontend.
3. Re-insert your document in the feeder slot. The device will now
   "grab" the document and pull it in a little.
4. Press the scan button on the device.
