I can't seem to find "EPSON Inkjet Printer #1" ...

When adding a printer to CUPS, I can't select the "EPSON Inkjet Printer #1" device that is needed by Photo Image Print System. Or, when selecting any other device than that, I can't print even though I could modify its settings.

This happens when the openssl-0.9.6 package is not installed. You can solve this in one of the following two ways.

* installing version 0.9.6 of the OpenSSL package
If the openssl-0.9.6 package is included on your distribution's
installation media, please install it.

* adding symbolic links to libcrypto.so.0.9.7 and libssl.so.0.9.7
when you don't have the openssl-0.9.6 package
NOTE: the directories where these libraries are installed may
differ between distributions, adjust as necessary

# cd /lib
# ln -s libssl.so.0.9.7 libssl.so.0.9.6
# ln -s libcrypto.so.0.9.7 libcrypto.so.0.9.6
