Cannot print to AcuLaser C900 equipped with PRIFNW3 through the network

Photo Image Print System plus Ver.1.0 does not support network devices. However, the following setting allows printing only.
Note: This setting does not enable options such as the Status Monitor or Printer Settings (for example, changing the Standby setting and selecting the Paper Tray Size). Use a local (parallel or USB) connection to perform any printer settings or toner replacement.

1. Check to see if printing is possible using a local (parallel or USB) connection. The following settings are assumed.
* Printer Name="alc900"
* Contents of /etc/printcap.local
alc900:\
:if=/usr/share/pipsplus/spoolfilter:\
:lp=/usr/var/lib/pipsplus/alc900:\
:mx#0:\
:sd=/var/spool/lpd/alc900:\
:sh:

2. Edit /etc/printcap.local as follows:
IP address of a network interface for AcuLaser C900 is assumed to be 192.168.10.161.

:rm=192.168.10.161:\
:mx#0:\
:sd=/var/spool/lpd/alc900:\
:sh:

3. Restart lpd
