Cannot print to AcuLaser C900 equipped with PRIFNW3 through the network

When printing from the GIMP using the CUPS version of Laser Printer Filter for Linux you need to do the following:

1. Start the "Print..." dialog and select the printer's "Setup".
2. Remove the "-oraw" option from the "Command".
3. select "PostScript Level 2" for the "Printer Model".
4. Click the "OK" button.
5. Click the "Print" button.

You may wish to "Save Settings" or "Print and Save Settings" so that you don't have to repeat these steps every time.

Note:

Newer versions of CUPS do stricter checking of PPD files which may require that you edit your PPD file slightly. You can do this with your favourite editor.
In case of /usr/share/cups/model/eksc85_86s.ppd, you would need to change

*Product "Stylus C85/C86 Series"
to
*Product "(Stylus C85/C86 Series)"
