Attempting to install Image Scan! for Linux on PCLinuxOS results in a dependency error and/or a conflict.
- Execute the following command in the terminal to remove the sane-backends-iscan package:
# rpm -e sane-backends-iscan - Execute the following command in the terminal to remove the saned package:
# rpm -e --nodeps saned - Install the Image Scan! for Linux rpm package.
A limitation of this work around is that you will be unable to share your scanner over the network via saned.
